Big Night Out!

I did it! My first big adventure out. Auntie Missy was having her birthday party on the patio at Salt Creek Grille, and Mom and Dad thought I should go celebrate with her. So we made sure I had a big dinner at home and then headed over to "The Creek" to party hardy and watch the Laker Game. I kicked it in my car seat while mommy and daddy got to have a glass a wine and a nice steak dinner. Then they had this thing called a chocolate souffle. They both said it would just be a matter of time before I was demanding my own chocolate souffle. We stayed for about 2 hours, just enough time to watch the Lakers win and then I was getting hungry, so we headed home. Here a few pictures from the creek. One more thought. Some of you have been asking how Bella and I have been getting along. Well all I can say is that Bella loves to take naps with me, so I guess you can say we are cool for now.........or at least until I can start grabbing her tail and chasing after her.

Trip to Grandpa and Grandma's house!

So Sunday was my big trip! It was the first time I took an hour long car ride to Grandpa Bruce's and Grandma Mary's house in Hacienda Heights. I took advice from Bella and just fell asleep for the entire ride down. On the trip I got to meet some more of my family. There was Great Grandpa Bob and Great Grandma Irene, Uncle Dave and Aunt Terrie who I had met before, and their son, my cousin Ryan. And of course Grandpa Bruce and and Grandma Mary were there. Long day for the growing girl!

Today was a long day for a growing girl. Let you give you a real brief summary of what I did today before I head off to bed.
We got up this morning and I went to breast feeding support group with Mommy. There were about 10 kids in there and once again mommy told me I was the prettiest. I was also the star of the class. My suckling techniques is second to none according to the lactation nurse. Daddy finally picked us up at 11am and we headed home for lunch. Mommy and daddy had a sandwich on the patio while I stayed in my car seat and swung in my snug glider. (Thank you Laurie) After lunch, daddy headed back to work and mommies' attention came back to ME! In the morning I showed her how well I can feeding and now it was time to show mommy how what goes in must come out. After three diapers later and quite the mess, mommy feed me again before it was time to head to the doctor for my two week check up. Daddy came by to swoop us up and head over for our appointment.
At the appointment I weighed in at 8 lbs. 8oz. and measured 21 1/4"! Wow I had gained 2 oz since birth and over an inch. The doctor was really impressed with the weight I had put back on. The doctor gave me a really good exam and said I was looking good, nothing to be concerned about. She said I don't have to come back to see her for 6 weeks. She said something about some vaccinations at that visit, wonder what that word means.....
From the doctor's office we stopped by mommy's office for a quick visit. Everyone wanted to see how I came out after cooking inside mommy for the past 9 months. After that I was exhausted! We all went home and took a nap on the bed. That's right the entire family... All five of us. What you thought we would leave out Bella and Oliver from nap time.

Busy Weekend!

Boy oh boy did I have a busy weekend! Let me tell you all about it. First on Friday I received some beautiful flowers from my friends and family at Valencia CC. I loved them, and they were just my color - PINK! Friday evening I took my first walk around the block with mommy and daddy. Fortunately there were no paparazzi around looking to get my picture, so you won't be seeing my mug on the front page of the Enquirer.

On Saturday my auntie Janessa came by to see me. She first saw me in the hospital right after I was born, but this time I had a cuter outfit on. Saturday evening Mommy, Daddy, and Bella took me for another walk around the block, which I really liked.

Sunday was the really big day. First Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Mary came up in the morning for a visit and breakfast. We sat outside until it got unbearably hot. They were here for a few hours, and then it was time for me to eat and take a nap. Auntie Melinda brought by some good food for mommy and daddy, which was really nice because they have to eat too.

Then after lunch and another nap, my cousin Zoe, auntie Lori and uncle Mark came for a visit. They stayed for dinner and a walk to the pool. Watching Zoe taught me how I will get to play with Bella when I grow up and can walk and run.

On Monday I met my new friend, Sophia Chieffo. Sophia is only 5 days old, but I can already tell she and I are going to be getting into trouble together for the next 18 years.

Last night Mommy, Daddy, and Bella took me to daddy's golf course. They wrapped me up tight, and I rode in the Baby Bjorn on mommy's chest. We drove around the entire course for about an hour. Now let me ask you this - do you think Tiger Woods can say he was on the golf course when he was 10 days old? Ha, got you there Tiger!

Got Milk?

I am only a week old and I have what is important in life all figured out! I think my shirt says it all. I just can't wait till I can have the chocolate chip cookie to go with my milk.

Even though I am only 7 days old I have just started my very own blog. Actually my mommy and daddy help me with this. But one thing is for sure, I am the star of this blog. I am going to use it to post photos and videos for all my friends and family to see. Mommy and Daddy are a little tired right now from taking good care of me, but they promise to post photos and videos on a regular basis. So make sure to bookmark this page and check back frequently!
